The skin is cleaned, the product is injected with a tiny, insulin needles, and the patient is able to proceed with the rest of their day. Please see post care instructions for any additional information.

Prior to your procedure, you may have numbing cream applied to make injections more comfortable. The area is cleaned thoroughly and prepped. During the procedure, we administer an injection into the targeted area. You may feel a pulling or pressure sensation for a few seconds. Discomfort is usually minimal and the procedure is well tolerated. The procedure itself takes about 30 minutes. Usually, multiple syringes are necessary to achieve full facial rejuvenation. The lip area is typically one syringe or less. Each syringe contains one to 1.2 mls of hyaluronic acid. Typically, volume is expected to last with some level of improvement up to one year or longer.
